Twins? Ex-Rover James Chambers, surely he's played with or against his brother Ashley at some stage?

Adam

Think they played against us a couple of years ago

Must be a few of the Rankines (and other close family members) who have played professionally

Mark Rankine, Dessy Rankine and Danny Rose are all related, I think there maybe a Rankine playing in non league that was on Rovers books at one time as well

I have a funny story about the Nelthorpe brothers Adam & Craig.

Alan 'Ginner' Edwards well known Rovers fan from Woodlands was speaking to one of the Nelthorpes & he said & I quote "Is it you i'm talking to, or are you your brother".

Priceless from Ginner

Alan, Stephen and Keith Quinn were all on the books with the Blunts at one stage or another.

Chelsea's Eden Hazard has a younger brother Thorgan who plays for Borussia Mönchengladbach.

De Boer's and Laudrup's were handy back in the Day!

I'm sure I played against him once in a Sunday league game. I had to mark him but came nowhere close. Needless to say we lost the match

Going way back I remember QPR had twins called Morgan - Ian & Roger I think, a left and right winger. This was when Rodney Marsh was playing for them. One went to Man U I think.

Cyril Knowles (Spurs legend, immortalised by the phrase/song nice one Cyril) had a brother Peter who played for Wolves, and then gave up the game for  religious reasons (Jehovah's Witness I think).

Cyril had a brain tumor, so I would n't imagine it was sudden, you might be thinking of the sudden death of Les Cocker who I think died around the same time

I never could get used to seeing Jimmy Greenhoff in red shirts. He was a fixture at Stoke City and then suddenly legged it up the M6. It just never looked right! Good player though.
