I do actually have some pity for him, temper and in a flash of all the places that ball could have gone it hits the Umpire, his remorse was immediate and clearly as well as the Umpire having a black eye the young man was very concerned for the umpire's injury..I did not see anyone laughing.  Could have gone anywhere that ball. Just like Harry Kirk's goal for Darlington into Town End goal all those years ago, ball comes flying to him from a mis hit shot, never hits the ground he lashes out at the ball and Donny lose 1-0 on a cold Friday night

That's exactly how I remember it Bally.
A bit like Murph's first touch on Saturday.☹️
That gave him the space to pick his spot with a good finish.

AGREED, must give him credit for that finish it fooled everybody. Ellison of course had to get the ball and kick it as high as he could, I think the gesture was FK U LOT

Bally?
Who was it that said Copps should be fined for trying to strangle the Plymouth keeper?
Flash of temper or what.
Just asking an old friend, that is all.

A direct pair of hands around shit for brains neck is a lot different to just hitting a ball in frustration. But under the Criminal Damage Act. Malicious, Careless or Reckless you are guilty so if under those headings. Just as bad.

Now firstly Copps. I agree he should have defended Mandeville and come 25th March well shall we see another penalty ? this time in the net and Mandeville will give him some an d get booked. Copps in my opinion was unfairly treated because if you are going to get booked or sent off then do it right, and strangle the Bast*** as I would have done. My comments were due to the fact that I believed that his actions would cause the team some points, I stand corrected as they did not.. :P :P :P :P :P BUt now hound. Just like Harry Kirk on that Friday night in 1969 I think it was, there is a difference, as was the Canadian's shot - could have gone anywhere. Copps is your mate, I know that but if you are going to get hung for killing a sheep etc...

To be honest, my comment was through frustration my old mate, gladly there was no major loss of points as an integral part of the team I feared there would be.. Now that useless back heel on Saturday  ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) Why did he not back heel it over their keeper.

Yes hound I have egg on face for that comment, not the first time either.   :chair: :chair: :chair: :chair: :chair:
