UNpopular decision but I'd call the f**ker off.

Looks like the Keepmoat pitch did at the back end of 2012-13.

As long as the goals are in the same place we should be ok!

I wonder if you'd  think that if you had travelled all the way there 😕

Depends on the circumstances. Anything that has potential to derail our title bid I wouldn't accept.

I went to Weston-Super-mare, sucked up the call-off and went back for the replay.

Best thing about a called off game is either you don't leave the pub or head straight back to it .

Maybe Newport will just build a big sandcastle in the goal mouth and shut up shop.

I've played on twice as bad a pitch as that avoiding dog turds and bonfire remnants while dribbling a ball uphill at Northgate. I played on a pitch at South Kirkby where there wasn't a blade of grass it was a dustbowl with what looked like holes where pipes had been under the pitch.
Our home pitch slogging up and down the wing with a boot full of mud, sweat in my eyes and trying to move either side was impossible. That pitch was terrible by today's high standards but in years gone by a run of the mill lower league pitch.

The Baseball Ground used to look like that - only wet. It was a childs playground really. Just mud.

I once played on a pitch at Edenthorpe that had a four foot hole in the centre circle around which were three traffic cones.

If the coach was playing with one in the hole you would have been well chuffed.
