Has anybody on here ever

Had to leave a house they didn't want to because they had lived there for years and loved the place. How did it turn out for the best or worst?.

I've lived in 16 (I think, maybe more)  houses in 33 years. Every one for 6 months or more as well. I've not been in the army either because I know those lads move around a lot.... or a gypsy...

Aye. Lost a job during the last crash, ended up having to leave, rocked up at the house on the corner of the very same street. Added another two or three minutes onto my journey wherever I went, mind. Couldn't bring myself to go past it, if I could possibly help it, soft t**t that I am.

I was "persuaded" to up sticks by Mrs DW and had to leave a place I had not great desire to move from. All I could see was upheaval especially as we had a place built and it took forever - and was in a different village / town

It was and is still brilliant - but even after 22 years in the new place I would move again tomorrow without a glance back. Life is too short as I am increasingly noticing and the place you leave is bricks and mortar as would be the place you went on to buy. Then you make it a home in the same way as where you are previously !

A no shit Sherlock statement maybe BUT I have answered your OP I hope

PS I would move a few hundred yards nearer the Keepmoat so it and not Glanford Park is nearest Ground to me. Better make that half a mile for when they mover nearer to Thorne !
