They weren't called the sisters of no mercy for nothing. I had to suffer them at St Peters in Lord Street. Then moved on from there to De La Salle in Sheffield where I then had to suffer the very unchristian brothers. Now they were sadists.

I went to Wilby Carr and lived at the other side of the woods that back onto St Pete’s playing field. We always played football on there during the hols.
I remember having a training day once and me and my mates pretended we were hard by going to St Pete’s to goad the poor sods at school that day. I shit myself when a nun came out and I ran home.
