I think their players will have been deflated before taking Accrington on,when seeing our result at Grimsby.
Psychologically how big a result was thumping Grimsby before Plymouth kicked off
4 of their last 6 are away and that is where their 'tactics' work best and arguably that is their best form. However, like us, they still have 2 of those games that are tricky in Pompey and Colchester. We have the more difficult home games as well, so we still have to get the most from them to be sure of the Championship.Personally, I don't much care about winning the league, the only priority is getting promoted, then we can focus on the other prize.
Still a way to go but every confidence we will be champions. A win and getting the 'P' alongside us will I believe take some of the pressure of us and bode well for a good run in to the title. On paper we are more than capable of taking the required points from our remaining games but as the old saying goes 'there is no such thing as an easy game' and we will need to play the football we know we are capable of. We are the best team in this division and have been most of the season just got to get over the line now. On the Grimsby result I feel it would have some effect on Plymouth before they kicked off. Plymouths away tactics/set up have brought a lot of points thus far and 4 of their last 6 are away so I don't think they have written themselves off yet irrespective what Adams says!
Its stitched on ... just wish I had £50 riding on it @ 4/1
But I disagree that winning the league doesn't matter. Yes it does matter it is a trophy in the cabinet and means we are the Champions.
Never quite understand this so called mind game goolies .I mean all professional footballers in today's game are adults and please don't tell me that when a other manager says whatever about them it stays with them to fcuk their game up.It's as not as if we are dealing with St. Peter's high U 14s,13s Or 12s school team with hackney ,girls and homework or detention issues is it.
