There's a thread in the OT section already on this mate.
I am going to go with Definetly Red though and a little flutter on drop out joe as it's a namesake for a family member.

Definitely Red for me too.
Though will also be having a few quid on

More of That...Best horse in the race.
One for Arthur... Very impressive recent form
Drop out Joe ...back from 9 months off following a bad injury but was going places before then. Trainer says he's as good as ever. Worth a bet at 66/1.

National is just a lottery,so many horses that anybody can win it.
I've gone with a small bet on Definetly Red to win,Wonderful Charm to win and a couple of quid eachway on Dropout Joe

It's not a lottery at all any more. Most of them just can't win.

Many times over the last decade have big shots won. Its not your typical horse race.

There are 40 runners so the prices are going to be bigger than in 8 horse races.

Superb colour film of the 1967 Foinavon Grand National. How big are those fences?

I have not watched GN since about 62 or 63 but I remember the Foinavon thing because I am sure my Mother (grhs) had a Horse called Popham Down or something similar ... and I am sure it lived up to its name and caused the mayhem in that race
