Young lad hit by Ball

A young lad was hit by the ball square on the head when they were shooting in the warm up by Marquis   JM was straight up to him arm round his shoulder made sure he was ok then took his training top off and gave it to the kid, must have made the lads day and nice one John M

Saw John run off with no shirt on. I assumed he had just given it to a fan. Well done to John

I've always thought that this was a bit dangerous so close to the crowd.  I presume that they do it there so that the crowd will throw the balls back.  A safer option would be to do it in the middle of the pitch and have selected staff or even fans retrieving the balls for the players.  It's only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured - hopefully the young lad today is OK.

I got hit really hard on the side of my head earlier on in the seaon,bludy well hurt like hell and made me drop my pie
