The only one I can think you're referring to is Matty Blair.

I'm more concerned that your eyes could be mistaken for Chris Brown.

Someone has put a zoomed in photo on Facebook of one of the players who does look like Brown.

If it is him he will only be training surely...I'm sure Fergie spoke about Brown at a meet the owners and his words were along the lines of "he was always injured"

I'd sign him, and turn him into a centre-back like we did with Alan Warboys several years ago.

Could be Baudry, hard to tell. I'd be surprised if we signed Brown

I'd be disappointed if we do sign him, he's had his day so let's move on

We had Paul Green with us last summer, he never signed. Didn't Saunders get Robbie Fowler down for a few training sessions once as well?

Highly unlikely - Fergie has said in the past he wouldn't be interested in Brown as he's too injury prone.

Yes, seen that photo and on the official vid when they are all lined up ready to run. Coming into shot from the left is someone who has that distinctive running style of Brown.

Yes, we recall Greengate from last summer but I like BB's suggestion.

From the photo on twitter I'd say it deffo is browny could be worth a low wage offer and a decent playing and scoring bonus can't see him getting many offers

I don't think many would say he's the future and the most likely scenario is he's just training with us.

If he doesn't get fixed up then and we don't have a back up to Marquis to lead the line then maybe there could be a short term deal if he can prove his fitness, who knows.

I think the club should avoid getting into the same situation as with Greeny last season when he was paraded in Friendlies and the Open Day

Pay as you play option
Would be great to bring on if we were defending a lead the lad knew how to hold the ball up

Why would any footballer sign a pay as you play deal? It's effectively a zero hours contract.

Same reason people take zero hours contracts, because they can't get anything better. If he can't get a contract anywhere else I'm sure he'd be willing to sign for us, or someone else, on a small retainer boosted by an appearance fee.

John Marquis can hold the ball up great as well, Brown isn't going to add anything there.

Enjoyed watching Brown play for us. Superb in his first loan spell 13 years ago and then useful again on his return. I'd like to think we've moved on now though. There are better ways we could use our money, and he could find better opportunities to play regularly elsewhere.

Assuming if he's training with us it's to stay fit in which case it's good that we're helping out a well liked former player.

Confirmed he is training with us but only to get his fitness back after a year out. Fergie knows him from Preston. McSheffrey is also there with the squad.

Not a good sign when your target recruitments are going else where and your training ground is filling up with has beens .
