I never get this bile directed at "celebrities" for sharing their view on twitter. If you choose to follow somebody, surely you're following the person, not their job.

I saw a bloke having a pop at Brian Cox the other week. Said something like "I followed you for interesting science snippets, keep your politics to yourself". What a charming bloke. Who the hell do people like that think they are to tell others what they are and aren't allowed to say? Ok if he went off on a rant about Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson in the middle of a programme about deflecting solar wind to support regeneration of the Martian atmosphere it would be bang out of order but that's not what twitter is about!
