Could they not check if they were season ticket holders. I think that the attitude was a bit slack unless they did try and check. Hopefully they are on the forum

Bit f**ked if it's not someone who doesn't sit there regularly!

Surely that's incorrect advice from whoever you asked.

What would they have done if no one had picked it up?

It's ok saying they'd be a bit fxxxed. They could have at least made some effort.  Maybe in the too difficult box

There seems to be a bit of apathy towards fans lately, as I experienced yesterday with the ht draw programme fiasco

All they had to do was contact him and pass your details as someone else said perhaps thats in the "too difficult" box  however thats the little bit of extra effort that people really appreciate.
Data Protection is invariably trotted out as an excuse for all sorts and half the time its a load of old cobblers

Absolutely bang on Dagenham. 'Data protection' is trotted out as a reason when in fact its nothing to with it. Data protection does not mean you cant be helpful by disclosing certain appropriate details in particular circumstances. Its more about how you keep the information and how you use it etc. As in this case its actually used as a statement of 'I can't be arsed'.

Well I can see why they wouldn't want to give, from their point of view, a random person another random person's contact details, but they could at least have made their own arrangements to try and return the person's property if they were unwilling or unable to give out information.

It really does depend who Rich spoke to. The advice to bring to the next game was probably all the person he asked could do.
Why don't you just contact the ticket office tomorrow, speak to Tracy and I'm sure she will sort it out for you.

The beating the club up without facts is getting a little bit boring

My son was assaulted in the school playground in full view of the cctv, we were told we could not view the footage due to data protection!!!  But could get a 3rd party to see it on our behalf.. the world has gone mad..
