..... I've just found an old paper at the bottom of some draws in my shed, and it's mainly the sports section,the Olympics are taking place,Steve Redgrave has just won a gold with Andy Holmes,later sadly died from Wheales disease. On the results page we drew 2-2 with Wrexham. Beattie 29 , Rankine 54 , scored for us with Russell 61 and Hunter 89 scoring for Wrexham. It played in front of the lowest crowd of the day 1712 , the highest crowd of the day was at Old Trafford vs West Ham 39,941.
