New year now for McCullough? Keeps getting longer and longer does his lay-off.

Pity no-one asked if this is still his knee or an injury he's picked up in training.

Yes but they are not fresh injuries. As the title says.

I must admit I was a bit sceptical about Alfie's suitability to play league football due to his size but I was dead wrong the size of his heart making up for incorrect assumptions I had made. He's a bulldog of the best order with his harassment of opposition defence and goal scoring ability terrific. He'll make a big difference when fit.

Small players are few and far between these days, and they have to be better than just good to make the grade.

I firmly believe that Alfie's very good, and his obvious skills will be more and more beneficial to the team as his experience and confidence increases.

Of course, I could be wrong (for once) and only time will tell.

There was a game earlier in season at KM when he was taking the proverbial out of defenders and playing to the crowd. It was magical. Reminded me a bit of Jamie Patterson at his piss taking best.

I'm sure there's more to come from Alfie. He has the heart of a lion and some skill to back it up.
