That was them twa-- that we were beating on 91 minutes and we lost and revenge will be sweet
And them that beat us on pens last week to knock us out of the cheakatrade  trophy , so were not doing very well against them this season.

Before the Scunny game my mate was saying that it would be hard because we hadn’t beaten them in the two games so far.
I said it was our turn to win.
Ditto for Rochdale then.

Very winnable game, bit more prize money, and then hopefully draw a big team in round 4.

4-0, the last time Rochdale lost a cup away tie was 2011

From Liam Hodens twitter feed

By January 7 Rovers will have face Rochdale four times this season. The FA Cup tie pushes back Rovers' fourth meeting of the season with Scunthorpe. Variety is the spice of life #drfc

I couldnt have imagined a worse draw - still the hat gets smaller in the next round and a bigger club awaits hopefully .

I can imagine plenty. Imagine if we had drawn someone like Ipswich or Norwich. Mundane, but easily capable of beating us and ending any hope of a deeper run. At least this is a winnable tie and it's at home, so no long journey to almost certainly get beat as many other options would have been.

Couldn't have put it better myself. It's a game that we have a chance to progress in so it's a decent draw as far as I am concerned.
I'm sure both teams will fancy their chances of making round four.

Nah I stand by what I've said - we NEVER get a decent  team away with the subsequent payday in the FA Cup and we rarely get to the 3rd round .

So Rochdale at home is a shite draw - where is the payday here  ?
Yes there were worse  but there were certainly far more exciting draws. Rochdale AGAIN doesn't excite me

The best outcomes for a draw are a big club away or a very winnable game at home.
This draw is the 2nd best outcome. It's much better than a reading, Fulham, Ipswich, millwall away

I'll take "boring" home draws all the way to the semi finals.

.............or something like Yeovil away.

If we win against Rochdale i think i read somewhere that we would get something like £65000 in prize money.
So that in itself is a decent incentive to progress.

Pity it wasn't Slough. I would have been very confident. No way were Rochdale four goals better - the result makes them look better than they were.

I just hope that we do the business on the day. I've seen us lose too many winnable ties over the years. Hopefully the players will be fired up for it.

I'm still emotionally scarred from the defeat at Rochdale earlier in the season, so a win would go some way towards the healing process!

Good result... For me home tie is all you can ask for against opposition outside the premiership.. Fourth round Prem team away.. You can dream.

I think we can safely say it won’t be one of the televised games, so 3 o’clock on 6 Jan it is then.

He is absolutely useless, they won’t beat us if he starts up front.
