Don't know if it was offside or a foul but butler never goes mad at officials like he did when their goal went in

Couldn't spot if it was a foul or not but nonetheless it was a well worked goal from them from a free kick after May needlessly fouled on the edge of the box which he subsequently got booked for.

Two-handed shove in Butler's back to make space for the scorer. A Sunday league ref would have spotted it. Unfortunately, the clown we had today was nowhere near that standard.

It looked like a push to me at the free kick, but they nearly scored from exactly the same position 10 minutes earlier. I can’t understand why we didn’t put an extra body at the back post as it was obvious they were going to try and exploit us there again.

The push on Butler was obvious on the replay.

That said, our marking was still questionable to say the least and there's a valid point that we need to tighten up in this scenario because two games running we've been punished.

From the South Stand it was too far away for me to see what happened but Butler went mad with the officials after the goal.
Ferguson said afterwards that it had been a clear foul so maybe if it hadn’t been allowed we would have won 1-0 and this thread wouldn’t exist.

A clear foul yes, but a draw was probably a fair result in the end. I beieve the foul on Coppinger was a stonewall penalty again at the end too. The officiating gets worse and worse and worse.
