It was a clear penalty lawlor caught him the ref was the wrong side to see it that's how he go away with it

If it wasn't a pen, was it simulation and hence a yellow card?

I think their player really helped Lawlor by trying to stay on his feet.

I think the referee must have decided that he lost his balance from honestly trying to dodge a challenge rather than from contact with Lawlor or from diving. Hence no booking and no pen.

Not all non pen decisions have to have a yellow card do they?
