The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Things are ok bearing in mind we've lost our defence this year. As long as we stay up who cares? Look at Plymouth. If there's a team who should hVe sacked their manager and didn't it's them, and look at them now. A new manager wouldn't make a difference in the longer term. We're building for the future.

Good shout. When Butler, Baudry and Wright are back it'll be better result wise and hopefully we can sort out playing for 90 mins instead of just the last 45.

Dreaming if you think either of them would come here - Warburton and Cowley I mean - for very different reasons.

We'd never get the Cowleys. They will be managing in the Championship next season.

As I said elsewhere, I'm not calling for a change at the moment. But Saturday is very important. If there is no reaction to that garbage then I will think the players don't listen to or care about the manager. And that is a significant thing.

What do you mean we are a league 2 club treading water in league 1 ?
We are a league 1 club that should and will be with the right manager be aspiring to be a Championship club once again.

After today’s performance it is clear that DF has lost the players. That is why he needs to go

That must be the Fifth or Sixth time that old clichè has been trotted out during Fergie tenure

Maybe he hasn't lost the players but he undoubtedly has lost the plot. Wrong formations, playing players in the wrong positions. Crap football to watch. I fail to see why so many on here rate him.

Fergies problem is he likes the 3 at the back, (I do), but you need fit intelligent players to do that, when it works it's a great formation, his problem is not recognising when it's not working and persisting without in the misguided belief that it will come good, rather than going back to basics

No point getting rid of a manager..

Yes results are going well but even when we've played badly against the top teams we've pulled a point out from nowhere!

It's a short fix results happen for 2/3 games then it fades off again!

I'd happily stick with Fergie, survive this season as that is the main aim - Consolidation

Get all his players back, have a great preseason and push on.

I wish people would be more positive rather than moaning, we were improving until we lost 3 CB in 3 games, which is quite a vital position IMO.

I am at work at the moment and cannot post links but if some kind person could go to the sack race website and post link, there are interesting stats for Fergy.

Last 45 mins. I wish. Last 15 against Charlton inc injury time and last 10 last night inc 6 mins injury time.

I agree I hate being like this it is totally against the grain but we can only comment on what we can see in front of our eyes and it is not good.
As I keep saying it is nothing to do with the centre backs. They got a good point at Portsmouth in their first match didn’t they. None of the goals last night were down to Boyle or Anderson.
IT IS THE CONSTANT TINKERING WITH FORMATIONS AND PLAYERS PLAYING OUT OF POSITION.
Yes we miss BUTLER as he has been our player of the season and is a voice & leader on the pitch.
We had no leadership on the pitch last night when we desperately needed one.
We were a ship with no rudder.
