I can save the Rotherham board a fortune in the summer

Don't bother buying any grass seed in the closed season, you don't play on it so why bother

Think that's unfair.

Fair do's it wasn't great today due to Doncaster doing their homework and played the perfect spoiling game for 90 minutes.

But over the last few weeks we've played some brilliant football that likes of Shrewsbury and Scunthorpe couldn't live with.

Spoiling game? We had two genuine injuries - one is currently in hospital the other has ligament damage. We made two forced early substitutions and Copps walked slowly off the pitch - as every played does nowadays (and btw you get the time added on anyway, and you benefited). Spoiling game, don't make yourself look daft lad, we played a high paced pressing game for 93 minutes very successfully and then f**ked it up. You were a better footballing side than us and your wage bill is probably a lot higher than ours.

No problem with teams getting the ball in the box, its where the goal is! How often at home do we play a few passes along the back with seemingly no plan only to then launch it forward?

Not that i'd enjoy watching hoofball every game

Spoiling game we ripped you apart for 80 minutes, with your lot the bell hardly touched the grass but when it did we had it. Shrewsbury fans on there forum was saying you are one of the worst teams they have played all season and board them to death.  I just hope you don't go up as you will come strait back down

We did not rip them apart at all. At the same time they were crap but our heads went and we lost the game not they won the game if that makes sense.

You are talking rubbish friendly miller.
I've was surprised how poor Rotherham were given their recent results.
For most of the game they just hoofed it upfield. It's ages since I saw a game with the ball in the air so much.
We threw it away by deciding to go deeper and deeper late on.

To be fair
You don't decide to go deeper and deeper it's just what happens when a team is throwing men forward.
You could see the bench and players saying to get up the pitch. But it's sometimes impossible

By spoiling, I didn't mean spoiling the match, I meant spoiling our system.

We couldn't get our usual passing flowing game going because your guys were so good at closing us down and being in our faces. I have to admit our players looked rattled in the first half.

I thought a draw would've been fairer but somehow or t'other we managed to grind it out.

Do you always invade the pitch when you score against teams you don't give a f**k about?

I sit in West Stand 2 next to the away fans so I didn't invade the pitch but I have to admit I've not celebrated a winner that much in ages and I've never seen our fans celebrate a victory do much since Wembley so maybe there is a rivalry we just did nt realise it.

It was a good day out but nowhere near as good as York or Scarborough away. They were proper derbies!

Say what you want about them but I wish we were as relentless as that in the pursuit of winning a game.

You could see who the mentally strong team was there at the end.

They weren't pretty to watch but you score a heck of a lot more goals at this level by getting the ball into the box than trying to be Barcelona.

Some of you must have watched a different game. I thought for 60 mins, we played the occasion better and with the normal 90 running out I thought they'd run out of ideas having created a few openings and us getting some good blocks in.

We knew there would be a lot of injury time but they kept going and we panicked (again).

Vicar, don’t be a dick. A draw would have been fair. We didn’t rip anyone apart today.

I agree exile. I don't care how well we play. I do care where we are in the table. It's no good saying we play good football if we go back down. Our position is no where near as good as good as it appears at a glance when other teams have so many games in hand. Our true position is probably about 18th which is where we were when PD was sacked and yet fans will still support Fergie.

We all k ow though you can get out of this league playing quite direct and thriving from crosses.  We won this league doing it.  It doesn't sustain in the league above though that's the problem.

This Rotherham side is not in the same class as our championship side as a football team. That display yesterday was as my mate commented " more like the Beck sides than I have seen for years" it was as agricultural as I have seen for  a long time.
The worst thing that can happen to them is to get promotion and not change the vast majority of their playing staff on display yesterday. On that showing they would be embarrassed at championship level.
