There's believing in what you've decided and being stubborn to the detriment of the team.

Plenty of managers have also lost their job through sticking to their beliefs, especially when things on the pitch have gone wrong.

Well its one thing if your stubborn in playing a style of football like Klopp, who won't change the way liverpool will ever play or say Mourinho who will play for a 1-0, but when its just stubbornness in playing a system with no real style or reason evident it is just bizarre and annoying.

It is one of my main bug bears with fergie how can he complain about players when he never put them in a team that suited them? yet it will never be his fault we lost (most good managers will take the criticism even when it is the players who warrant it)

Just can't help feeling we'd have got that 5-10% better out the lads if they played a 442 or 4231 as we often did play better when we changed to this in the second half...
