Good day for English sport!

Yes, a very good day for all in England! We thrash Panama 6-1 in the World Cup; thumped The Aussies 5-0  in the ODI series and Lewis Hamilton wins the F1 in France.

Lovely jubbly!

Yes but Hamilton could have won with a faster time and England should have won by more than just one wicket.

We just teased the Aussies, let them build their hopes up and then knock em back down to earth, they are nothing without the sandpaper 😀😀😀

Add to yesterday too when England rugby league beat NZ and I think the union team won too so a great weekend of sport for England.

You do know that I was just finding a negative to moan about in the post by Wiltshire Exile, like many of our contributors do when some of us are enjoying another good win by England’s football team.

True, but he's an Englishman in an international sport.

Genuine question here (I don’t watch F1).
Are there any other F1 drivers that Hamilton beat?
