What's the betting Billy, for the world cup they will have their nasty but very good batsmen back, three or four 90 mph bowlers, and roll us over when it matters.

90mph bowlers in ODI are a luxury, you usually find those bowlers can't bat, England bat down to no.10 in ODI. Warner is a genuine batsman in ODI but Smith is nowhere near the standard he sets in tests.I'd fancy us against the best they've got

A pint on it then  Filo for a friendly bet, if they meet that is. they only had one yesterday and he blew us away at the top of the order.

But thats what I'm saying, we can afford to have a bad day at the top of the order, we bat down to no. 10 so at least a couple of our barsmen will tick

Not when they come at you one after another, we never posted a score in the tests last year, why , because they had three or four quickies bowling just short of a length ball after ball, and we could not cope.
They have sent feed bowlers for this series, to build bridges, put it on the bat end, and slog it to the boundary, that's not real cricket.

Their 3 fast bowlers from last year's ashes series are all injured, that's why they're not here. This England ODI team is the best in the world for a reason - sure, they might lose to Australia at next year's world cup but if each time had their strongest side out, I'd still back England every time.

Nick they are not going to come over here for a quick game of diddly donk cricket when there is no big bucks, or a trophy to play for.
Batsmen to get used to the conditions yes, fast bowlers no, they are not as daft as us.

Test matches and ODI's are totally different beasts

It must be two or three years since I had three or four quickies, one after the other.
