World Cup violence, or not...
« on July 10, 2018, 12:38:45 pm by DRNaith »
Has there really been little or no violence, or stupid "celebrations" at this world cup, or is there some form of block on reporting around this?

There wouldn't be a block thats for sure. They'd love to have a chance to paint Russia in a way that suits the Western agenda.

is it beyond the realms of possibilty that the Russian hooligan ringleaders may be on a "camping trip" somewhere and others advised of the forwarding address in Siberia  for their mail if there is any trouble? Putin wants this World Cup to acclaimed hence no problems from his lot

Hard to shit on your own doorstep when you're locked up for the duration of the World Cup.

FSB have been knocking on doors telling the known hooligans to stay at home, apparently. Putin doesn't mind his ultras causing a shitstorm in other countries, but he doesn't want his own state police looking weak by getting knocked out by hooligans.

I’d hazard a guess it’s the same “them” who make such a song and dance about Russia carpet bombing Aleppo, murdering vocal opponents of Putin and pouring millions into funding Farage and his cronies to run their Brexit campaign.

The secret po-po have been busy ensuring known ringleaders have been told in no uncertain terms what will happen if they cause any trouble.

"Unprecedented scenes of violence" apparently
Not football fans though, just protesting against the world cup taking place for some reason

Allegedly. I'm still waiting on the claims that the pond life that managed to get hold of some 'Novichok' were secretly enemies of Putin.

If Putin wanted violence there would be. He doesn’t want it so there is none. Simple really.
I imagine the cost of Russia has kept most of the idiot England fans away that were in Holland.
England appear to have supported the team very well in Russia. Those that have made the trip have made some great noise for such a small number
