A time for all the board and manager bashers to come out from behind their key boards ———— fat chance of that happening😛

You don't have to be there, I'm sure someone will ask a reasonable question for you by proxy.

We all take the Richardson years as background noise after the years have rolled by but if you stop and think, it could not have been scripted in a more malign, amateurish or destructive manner.

Thank god for JR.

The budget surprised him how good it was when he was interviewed for the job, and is on a level in the top half/six.
He is happy with the squad, and has been impressed by the young players, especially Cody Prior, and money is available if he wants to bring others in.
Gavin said that the off field income has increased once again, and is making a good contribution to the overall budget, also that talks with the Belles are ongoing about their current situation and how the Club Doncaster can help. Also that the Dons pay their way and are not a drain on resources in any way, and that the club Doncaster concept is a contributor to the overall budget.
There will be an open day, where they hope to make it more of an event than it has for the last few years
Back on the playing side the manager hopes to play a more expansive game, and said he expects attacks to end  in someone having a shot at goal, last season only 8% of our attacks ended with a shot at goal one of the worst in the division.
If Mandeville is a success at Morcombe, the club would be covered financially if he went to another club.
Grant thinks that as a club, we more than match his former club, the facilities at the K.M. and training pitches being better.
Both Grant and Gavin reiterated that John Marquis is not for sale as far as the club is concerned and any offers have not been considered an adequate offer nor from a club that would benefit the players career and were dismissed out of hand.
They also said that the club would not stand in his way if it was beneficial to the player and the club, but a deal would only be done if the club could benefit the team and was done in time for adequate replacements and improvements to the team could be made before the transfer window closed.
I am sure other attendees will be able to add to my report hope it helps.

Grant was asked about the proposed loan of the Bristol City player. He obviously rates the lad, but said that at the moment he has health problems that needs monitoring by Bristol, so if any deal is to be done it will be late in the transfer window.

The main thing for me is his thoughts on youth.  A gamble perhaps or are they good enough?

Only Amos, imho. I have watched them in the odd game last season and they all show promise. But, and it's a big but, it's a long way from promise to fulfilment - ask Mandeville!

Well Alan, if you look on the Bolton site it looks as though he played well and made an impression on a championship  side tonight.

GB did not say that, he said money is not a problem and is available if the manager finds a player or players he believes are better than what we’ve got. If player is available that will improve us then money is there.

Given his age, if he club offered him another contract on equal or better terms then we would be due something decided by a tribunal anyway wouldn’t we?
