Crawford has posted on instagram that he is in fact in London. Why would he be there and not training? Why would GM say the player in question started and finished the game vs Southend? All very strange to me.

The manager claimed we had no injuries after Saturday's game, also. Obviously, he's keeping things as guarded as he can by being a little economical with the truth?

I can understand him being protective, but it leaves us all a bit confused, so on the plus side, all our competitors must be as well.

I think he is playing it well

Maybe he thought the player in question just had a knock and it only became apparent on Monday that it was serious.

When I broke my foot years ago I was able to walk, even though it was painful. When I got up the following morning I couldn't put any weight on it and I knew I had a big problem.

I understand why the club haven't stated who is injured.  What I don't get is why say anything at all until they know how bad it is.

Probably because some of our fans demand to know every little thing that is happening at the club.

Nearly 70 posts on this thread and we don't have a clue who we are talking about. That's why this site is so frustrating. We don't get told anything and then get told not to speculate. Ridiculous.

Your first post on rbis thread says you don’t give a shit, so why comment further.?

Not saying you can’t, just asking why..

I agree with this. No need to say anything unless it was already in the public domain. Once the full extent is known it isn't really necessary to say anything until we get a replacement in.

Even you must see how ridiculous it is that we can talk so much about nothing. Why management cannot be more open and honest is baffling, but that's what Rovers fans get. And yes, until we get told something sensible by the club, I don't give a crap who it is.

There seems to be a lot of stamping of feet in this thread, relax if someone is injured they're injured, nothing anyone can do about it

The frustration builds  because of the brief from McCann telling half a story, be transparent or shut up McCann.
Or is it back to the 7 or 8 best budget in the league, one injury and were already short, hardley a promotion pushing side.

Really don't see the correlation to the budget. He clearly states we're looking at people to bring in in case it is as bad as it might be.

Or is that a lie because it doesn't fit what you think?

If the player played the full 90 it can’t be crawford. He came off for Blair

But you can't rely on everything McCann says being correctsfter the Southend game he said we now have TWO home games, he seems to get confused sometimes.

I thought that was strange not knowing the fixtures. The games coming up would be imprinted in his brain you would have thought.

If that's all you have to pick up on, there isn't much wrong at the club lol

Omg GM made a mistake with the up coming matches.

Some people love to talk crap on here.

Have these people never made a simple mistake.

If you find it baffling that doesn't mean he is wrong, it means you don't understand why he is doing it.

I'm all over this..Football is a game of fine margins..Right now Wycombe are on the training ground looking at a scouting report from our game on Saturday..The more they have to guess the better as far as I'm concerned..

Although it's worrying if not predictable that our injury curse is alive and well..I fancy us to do a lot better than most people think, but it's crucial we get more luck on the injury front than in previous years..

Maybe when the usual line of "the next game is all we're focused on" we should believe it

First game of the season and not another game for another week.

He shouldn't know where his next fart is coming from never mind just those 2 fixtures at the moment.

It shows professionalism for me, he is just focused on the next game.

He will have focussed staff who have a job to give him all the info ready for the next game to work on.

Come on. He made that comment right after FT when his entire focus was on Southend and the win we'd just achieved.

Have someone come interview you minutes after your first big day in a new job and see if you get all the little facts right.
