I grew up living next door to Jim and my mum is still friends with his wife
Just thought it would be of interest to people to know his daughter beth is competing at the Athletic European championships in Berlin.
She will be in action at 18.45 Tomorrow and 19.45 on Saturday both on BBC1 I believe

Haha Well she obviously has stronger knees than Grants,ive never seen a knee swell up after every game like his did.Used to have a pint with him after the match when he was at Gainsborough,how he carried on playing was beyond me...
