Bradford City
« on September 17, 2018, 09:49:49 pm by Chris Black come back »
Very poor record this season. Lost five out of last six league games and are currently on four game losing streak in league.

In the calendar year 2018 they have won only 2 (two) away games in the league and one of those was on 1 January. In fact, they have an absolutely appalling away record. In 2018 they have played a total of 16 away games in the league and have a record of P16 W2 D3 L11.

Can we go 3 on the trot, we can if we start winning against the bottom teams

I was in my local in Bradford last night and was told that they have only sold 750 tickets so far.
I'm in again tonight so will try and find out any latest injury news they might have.

We have a good record for giving charity to teams on bad runs so why should this game change a habit.  I hope it is wrong though

At least somebody in my car will be happy on the way back to Bradford.
I just hope that it's me, my son and granddaughter.
With the league table as it is this is probably the least damaging team to lose to so far though.
Hopefully our good run will continue despite the concern over flattering to deceive over the years. I'm sure that GM won't allow over confidence to damage our chances.

I have a feeling they'll try and kick us off the park. Just hope it backfires and we punish them in the right way!

This is starting to read exactly like the Walsall forum, prior to their game against us, only last week!

Bradford may be having a bad time of it right now, but all runs come to an end sometime - ask our U18's!

Let's just hope for another win and 3 more points, without getting carried away.

My view is that the next league game up is always the most important fixture, and also potentially the toughest, regardless of the opposition..

Got to expect they'll come and park the bus just to try to break the losing habit, so it's less likely we will dish out a hammering and could come unstuck if we commit too much.

I honestly can't remember the last time I was confident we would win and we actually did.

A victory on Saturday will be the first time for a very long time that such confidence will be warranted.

You were confident of victory even though it was potentially the toughest game? Are you getting mixed up with confidence and hope?

Well listening to McCann, he's not taking it lightly so sounds like he's got the right message over to the players.

There are no easy games or certainty of three points games.

No I was confident we would win especially after the Peterborough performance..

In the end it wasn’t as comfortable as my confidence had suggested, but the score line won me 5 points on super 6.!!

Precisely.. you never know when a team out of form is about to turn a corner, and vice versa..

Again, I'd take 1-0 off John's arse.

Not just ourselves, but many teams slip up in games like this.

An easy 3 points on paper,    we have great attacking options and an abundance of confidence, the system is being applied irrespective of opponent...and the application is getting results....
We blipped against Luton, yet still won, I doubt we will not have learnt from the Burton game, so for me it’s a totally dominant performance by a team in great mental shape... that is undeniably meeting all expectations
Bradford are a wounded thing, yes they may snarl and gnash....but we will rip and tear...

I think the Bradford manager may have had his pre match team talk done for him.

If a team needs a handful of comments from an opposing fans’ forum to get wound up for a match then there’s something wrong with their motivation to start with..

They obviously didn't respond then.

Not quite the sodomy I thought we'd see, though it could've been if we'd took more of our second half chances.

Two great strikes from JM and the move for his second showed excellent swift passing from Matty and Copps.
