I will be surprised if John does not get sold at the end of the season, def if we are relegated or stay in this league.

I hope your wife/parents have locked away the knives.

Sharp is twice the goalscorer Marquis is. Not even in the same class.
10 goals in 900 minutes in the Championship this season. ie one every 90 minutes.
In over 50 years of watching the Rovers he's by far the best striker we've ever had (I only caught Alick Jeffrey at the end of his career)
How much did Sheffield United pay for him? How much did Middlesborough pay for Asombalonga? I know who I'd sooner have

I don’t think thats what the question was.
The question was would you swap marquis for sharp now?
I wouldn’t, and sharp is easily the best striker we’ve had in my lifetime

Sharp and Marquis are very different types of player.
Marquis works his nuts off and gets involved in the build up play but isn’t a six yard predator.
Sharp is a six yard predator, he gets most of his goals in and around one to twelve yards out out but doesn’t do the work that JM does.
Together they would be a formidable pair but it won’t happen for DRFC.

Sorry, my mistake.
But ok, yes I would. I'd have Sharp playing for us up front rather than any other goalscorer in the Championship or League 1

For me, a predator is what we are missing. If we had a player like Sharp, or Heffernan at his best, we'd be top of the league.

We'd have at least got a point yesterday, Sharp would have buried Marquis' chance at the death.
