Was it a Pen - Foul on Wilks
« on October 06, 2018, 08:02:13 pm by Donnywolf »
My gut feeling was he was outside the Box but he was clearly going on to score ?
Was it a Pen and if not was it DOGSO ?
I noticed there seemed to be bodies everywhere protesting innocense ? The apology for a Ref was having trouble contacting the West Stand Lino (another Muppet) and they were 10 yards apart. Why not just walk the 10 yards ?
Anyway Pen or not ? Red Card or not ?

Not sure how you can say any of our players were clearly going to score today.

I thought it was a fair decision.  It wasn't a clear cut DOGSO. There was another defender with him.

Think about it this way. Would you have been incandescent if we'd had a player sent off in those circumstances? I would.

I thought it was a definite sending off especially the way Husband seemed to play on his injury (TBF I didn’t realise it was him)

He was substituted immediately so I don't think he was playing on it somehow.

I've seen penalties given for incidents like that, even though Husband was clearly outside the box - But that was when he played for us!

Not a penalty as a long way out the box. Not a red card as there were 2 defenders there so he wasn't last man.

Hence the use of the word ‘seemed’
