I was NOT a fan but gave him 2. Thats meteoric for me !

He seemed to start ok but then just fell apart. Far too many fouls let go for "advantage" and when non accrued they were simply not brought back

Rovers defended a Free Kick on West Stand side in first half. Copps and Wilks? were about 6 yards from the Ball and the Ref hoofs it onto Penalty Spot. Hes got a spray ffs for EXACTLY this procedure. Spray a dot walk 10 yards - spray a line. Its not Rocket Science is it ?

Anyway he was crap and the East Stand Lino (for a change was CRAP) Why did he not have a Peaked Cap on - are they allowed to wear one - becasue he was obviously blinded by the sunlight and the double Offside late on could have done for us

Just as well they did not score - and just as well we DID score when Butler was wrestled to the floor just before we scored Goal 2. Lucky for the Ref who did not give "advantage" but got out of jail when we got that goal

Agree re the East Stand Lino. Hopeless offside calls and I actually thought their player (can’t remember who) was offside in the run up to their 3rd goal.

He could not see for the Sun and certainly got some Offsides wrong. Noticeable when the sun dipped he got a very marginal one right

Given lots of Grounds are laid out North South the Sun must be an issue elsewhere so I am still wondering if they are allowed a Peaked Cap ?

They are not allowed to wear caps, apparently because a lino once missed an offside when wearing one. This doesn't take into account how many wrong decisions have been made by officials who had difficultly seeing due to the sun.

As for Salisbury, it says something that he was one of the better referees I have seen of late. Even though he was far from being great.

Far too fussy. Blew so many soft free kicks. He needs to learn that not every single bit of contact means it’s a foul.
