Maybe me but he doesn't seem as quick as he has been, & looks like he's put a bit on.

The players are whatever weight the club tell them to be. He won’t be over weight. He’s just not that good. Technically he’s actually pretty poor. He’s a live wire though.

Like Gaz said, the club wouldn’t allow him to put weight on mid season. Just wouldn’t happen

   Well he is doing something right, he is strong enough to get away from defenders and turn them, and is the quickest over 10 yds at the club by a mile. He took 2 yards in fifteen out of the Sunderland back four on more than one occasion.
  Blair probably is as quick when up to speed, but I don't think so from a standing start.

Reece James gave him a couple of yards start and cruised past him a couple of times as well. He’s no Jermaine McSporran.

People are reputed to keep growing till around the age of 21 - and as anyone who has seen me will know I carried on gaining height long after that !

So by definition he can (must) surely be gaining weight as he gains that height !

At the end of the day we will lose his services for the period of the trial, and it might affect his performance before the trial as it is only natural for him to worry about it. I hope he is innocent and continues to play for us, but the court will decide not us. Best left alone, I say, and let him concentrate on his game.

That's correct.

There has to be a certain amount of evidence which enables him to be charged. The legal system we operate under has, essentially,  two outcomes, guilty or not guilty. The judge can stop any trial before it gets to that point if he/she feels that there is no charge to answer, i.e. then he would be classed as innocent.
