We might just be sensible and give the manager the summer to move on players that he doesn't want and then build his own team for next season.
GM said in his first Supporters meeting he had the funds he had the squad for a top six finish which GB and the board have set as their goal. He also said money was still available after the window closed. It’s his job to bring in players that will improve our squad to ensure we hit the goal he has been set. Anything less he will not have achieved what the board set him to do when selected by them.

Unless of course you have time travelled and are merely pointing out what only you can know? If “ impatience” was a drug, I feel you would be well past rehabilitation...And just in case I flew too close to the truth....can you remember the numbers for this weeks euro, I will give all the money to our club to fund the obvious transfers required.....
sha66y the views I have written was the managers and the CEO whether it’s now or end of season. I have not put what I think it’s what was the target by the manager and CEO.So my scenario is unless the manager or CEO comes out again and says that the top 6 is now not achievable then they stay as they are from the beginning of the season. So I’m not impatient or have not time travelled I’m just reiterating what was stipulated by the manager and CEO. Also I don’t ridicule other people as you are trying to do.
What a about scenario 3. Manager brings in 2 or 3 players who perform?

This one is the preferred scenario, however under the current climate probably the hardest one to foresee...Yes we could see results, or damn we just blew the budget....buying an instant striker is more fantasy than myth...Established strikers are already taken, so it would mean either going abroad, or taking a punt on an unknown at a higher level club...vis a vis Wilkes from Weeds...

That’s very interesting....Are you implying that the top 6 expectation by the board and manager was to be maintained throughout the season ? And...Why would the board and manager say that a top 6 finish won’t be achieved whilst the season is still young ? I fail to see the relevance of a board/manager statement pre season that can be questioned at this stage...I never ridicule anyone intentionally, however my replies are ...let’s say “ more formed” So to wind this up....are you saying the club should issue a statement saying “ we don’t EXPECT to be in the top 6 at the end of the season...because we have failed to realise the importance of ...spending money = success “
Why do you not allow any scenario where we improve or where any positive can be drawn? i'll give you a scenario, in the coming games our strikers start converting the many chances we create and our opposition run out of luck (3 shot 3 goals kind of luck) and we strengthen our grip on the playoffs. That seems far more likely than what you seem to believe are the only possible futures. Also re bringing players in to meet the goals set do we not think a steady integrated approach to signings would be better i.e. don't do a Fulham, and sign a raft of players who are supposed to be good enough for our goals (top six) but do so in such a short space of time (the one summer GM has had) that means struggling to gel and consequently lose a couple of games. Meaning we end up exactly here. Is in not better to build a capable squad over a couple of summers that way ensuring we gel and give players in the existing squad a chance to prove their worth? Personally i wish the didn't set targets like top 6 so publicly so early i'd rather just see that we are clearly going in the right direction and be happy so long as that we keep improving, which we undoubtedly are. Maybe some people have a need to know exactly our ambitious and the club feels the need to entertain that need even if the only reason anyone wants to know is so they can beat the club with it in an online forum.I pretty much agree with everything you have alluded to, the reason for the “ negative” slant to the questions is to elicit the truer feelings about not succeeding this term in relation to the boards desire of a top 6 finish....I want to gauge the reactions of those who can stand back and look at DRFC with a less critical viewpoint....and factor in all the recent changes that may or may not impair our final position....
Scenario 1the manager does bring 2-3 players in, and though they looked great on paper they don’t gel or perform , and we end up in a dog fight....Scenario 2the manager doesn’t bring any new players in, and we continue to fluff opportunities and end up in a dog fight...Question;Do we rage at the Manager for the poor signingsOrDo we rage at the Manager for not flashing the cashOr do we scroll through endless Championship Xbox games looking for the “ one I would have signed” ....Just to make ourselves look more knowledgable
