Facing a prison stretch after being convicted of a serious assault against a woman with a shoe - google for full details in the press -

As a footballer he was completely underwhelming - another Fergie flop loan acquisition

What a toaster reading the story. Awful. It’s a shame she didn’t run away. Chances were he wouldn’t catch her

Was it a flip flop?

Mirror article says he is a part time rapper. This makes sense as he was clearly a part time footballer. Added little and looked as though he was adding little.

What an absolute scum bag. How on earth did he manage to persuade us to give him a loan contract? Part time rapper? More like a full time crapper! :turd:

Difficult to run away when she’s only wearing one shoe.

I doubt he will receive a custodial sentence for assault.

He needs another couple of years adding on for a poor impersonation of a footballer

Like ChrisBx, I doubt whether he will serve a custodial sentence, ‘though I sincerely hope that he does. What an appalling example of a member of the human race.

I didn’t know him or ever watch him for the Rovers,
however....
the story reads somewhat more than just a guy beating a woman...

It says he knew her and met her at a club, ( what kind of club?)
It says he offered to drive her to her car? ...( how come his car was at the club and not hers?)
Why or how did she manage to collide with his car? ( intentional or accident, as the reaction seems over the top for just an accident?)

yes he should be punished for his assault, however I feel there is a lot more to this vague, half factual précis of a story..

Deserves everything he gets. What a waste of a career

Horrible man. Not sure why she drives into his car though. Was she drunk?

You can’t even consider condoning what he has done but if someone rammed my new motor I’d lose the plot as well.

Looks like they'd had a bump previously, which is why they pull into the car park. Then it gets heated and she rams his car either because she's panicking or on purpose.
