Seventh time in nine years we will have been in round three of the FA Cup.
Not so bad really.

Great save by Lawlor.

5 of those years surely we entered at the 3rd Round stage as a Championship club? Bit misleading haha.

Marquis moves to 16th in the all time Donny scorers list.

Yes I sat in front of two young lads last week who did nothing but slate him and wanted taken off. One comment was he never scores, loved it when he did and this old man turned round and told them both so. Well done John yet again.
All being well, he should easily make the top ten by the end of the season.

Good win away today, you can only beat those in front of you and if you make lots of changes at Charlton did, you get what you deserve.

Onwards and into the next round.

Will they even be in it by then?

Everton or Liverpool away would be a dream. Any big side at home I'd be pleased with too.

Hate to point it out though, Oldham are through too...

Actually I was quoting what the commentator on the bbc had said, but he is wrong.
We have been in R3 in ten of the last thirteen seasons and only five of those have been when we were a Championship club.
In two of the Championship seasons we went on to R4.

Good bit of replay stress for both of them, and Sunderland/Walsall. Still, we now have the effect of a 3rd round game to weather.

And 2 clean sheets on the bounce. At this rate, Lawlor might get a contract!
