Vicar, I rang the ticket office up at 12.05 today and they told me we had sold 1600 tickets so far. Not saying they’ve told you wrong but that’s what they told me.

I dont think there were anywhere near 2000 Fans that Friday night in 1965 we did them 5-1. Maybe Selby or TRB may throw some light on that as segregation was not really practised just then BUT there was a Special Train from Donny which was pretty full

I was a lad of 12 or 13 then Wolfie.
My dad took me and my cousin to the match.
No segregation as you say.
We were on the halfway line area on the town side Stand.
We cheered every Rovers goal and never felt unsafe.

I'd wager that if our form from September had carried through October this thread wouldn't have taken the course it has.
