That's tragic if it's an elaborate wind up.

What is tragic is not being able to tell the difference between Selby's wind up posts and his serious ones!

And what about McGahey of Rochdale, a mere snip at £150k, and, hopefully, going to Scunny. How was he still on the pitch at half time?

God awful performance.

Absolutely torn a new one by Wilks.

So much so he was moved to CB at half time out of the way 😂😂😂

IDM, I was joking to get a reaction, Nobody could criticise any player that took part in that game today, everyone including Rowe and Coppinger when they came on played well, including Alfie May who took his goal brilliantly.
Do you think he was trying to head it back across the goal and it went wrong?

I'm worried you're losing the plot now.

It's okay to admit when you are wrong, you know. I'll do it right now - I said Wilks could go back a month ago cos I felt his performances had dropped off a cliff and he didn't look arsed. His form has picked back up and today he was brilliant, an individual performance that was magnificent, proving me completely wrong.

Your vendetta against May is just daft and being proven untrue. Please just admit it.
He is winding you up something rotten and your all falling for it hook line and sinker.

Not quite right there Campsall; when someone realises they're wrong and have made a tit of themselves, the next natural reaction is to try and make it look as though it's all been just a wind up; it's the oldest trick in the book.

The truth is, Brian's been criticising May, and touting Mandeville, McCullough, and McGahey for a long, long time; he's not going to get out of it now by pretending to be on a wind up.

The only bit I was suggesting was a wind up by Selby was the post he put about Alfie May heading that goal and it might have been unintentional. All the other posts were serious i realise that as I have had many discussions with Brian on the Travel Club Coach about Mandy, McCullough and McGahey.

Who is wrong About McGahey,  One bad game does not make him a bad player, or Henderson, at least it has served to deflect some of the fonts of all knowledge comments on Wilks and Marquis a couple of weeks ago.

Some of you must think Stuart McCall is a dumplin, just signed Byron Webster, and Harrisom McGahey as central defenders.
Scunthorpe could be a different proposition in the second half of the season.

Yeah, and a bit of him stuck in Alfie's back pocket as well.

I hope he is in February  as well, but it maybe the other way round for a new club.  You will have to wait  and see, some comments may come back to haunt you.

Selby, mate, it has to be said that McGahey had a torrid time at the KMS the other day.
He might be a decent player but he was ripped to pieces, especially by Wilks.

You make it sound as though you want it to happen to be proven right.

The only haunting here is the one McGahey is no doubt suffering from the memory of Wilks ripping him to shreds. Bet he came off the field relieved to have already sufficiently convinced Scunny to sign him before that display.

RA, they must have watched the four good games he had against us last season, and how he dealt with Alfie at Rochdale this season.

Why should that count? You thought Alfie was shite, didn't you?

I hold my hands up, I must be wrong, after all we must have sold loads of players in the last few seasons in the last six months of their contract for £150,000, perhaps someone will have a list as I can't remember.
McCall, what does he know, if only he had read your comments before he signed him. It makes you wonder in what league he managed for the last couple of years, and who he thought were good players.

Nobody is saying he is useless but you don’t seem to be able to acknowledge he was absolutely dreadful on Monday, it was embarrassing

Dickos, didn't I say one bad game doesn't make him a bad player, do you think he was bothered after not playing for weeks because he was off, and then having to play four days before he joined another team?
I hope in February he has just as bad a game against us.

I reckon that if he plays against us for Scunny he will get at least another booking as he will be trying to “do” Wilks.

Of course I think he was bothered, he’s a professional footballer that was embarrassed in front of 7000 people

Hound, a narrow pitch, Webster and McGahey down the middle, a couple of other decent signings as well, they could do well to the end of the season.

Webster was never great on the ground, McGahey certainly wasn’t the other day.
Neither of them are particularly quick.
We will pass them to death and get behind them.
Nothing to worry about.

I don't get why you care how well he's doing. He's not one of ours and he isn't going to be, it's a bit odd.

I don't want or need you to get what I care about RJ, I am just as big a Rovers fan as you are, but seems as though I have a wider interest in football in general than you do. Whether that is true I hope not, as you will miss out on a lot of enjoyment if you ignore every other player and team.

I don't ignore every other player and team, I just don't fawn over every player I think we should sign and obsessively defend them.

I don't know where you get that from, I openly stated I thought we had enough centre halves, but would have  looked at McGahey instead of paying £250 k for an untried at this level player from Cork City that others were pushing for, and that he covered more than one position.
Now Mason is looking as though he is fit, and we have signed another right back as well, I am more than happy with that situation.I don't like Blair playing right back although he has played well in the last couple of games.
