Lots of details to come I am sure - but how can whoever did the Shooting know they would kill a bloke if they shot through a window ***

*** Thats if they did. They may have gone in a shot and the bullets holes were caused by exiting Bullets ?

Anyway they found the burnt out Car down White Cross Lane so maybe some clues to be had there

Take your point though mushRTID - if they were after a specific individual why go for him so publicly where there is undoubted CCTV - Dashcams - and members of the Public (and I DO include the poor victim in that)

Apparently he and his brother had had some "beef" with some others, not sure what over but I could make an educated guess.

The shooting probably wasn't meant to kill him, more of a "warning shot".

Someone in the pub messaging where he was sat?

If that’s the case it won’t take long to work out who’s involved surely?

Detectives investigating the death of a 21-year-old man in Doncaster have arrested two people in connection to his death.

A 29-year-old man was last night (Saturday 19 January) arrested on suspicion of murder, while a 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both were arrested in the South Cave area of Humberside.

They both remain in custody at this time.

Just after 8.45pm on Thursday 17 January, police were called to the Maple Tree pub on Plantation Road, Balby, following reports that the 21-year-old had been shot. He was taken to hospital but sadly died shortly after.

Formal identification will take place later today (Sunday 20 January).

Detectives remain keen to hear from anyone with information or who has dashcam footage from the area. If you can help, please call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously quoting incident number 796 of 17 January 2019.

Well I hope they have got the culprits and that they get long jail sentances, with a minimum 20 year ticket.

They would bite your hand off for 20 years. The one that pulled the trigger will never get out.

Hope so mate but our courts have a habit of handing down short sentances sometimes and then offering parole halfway through the term.

Pretty quick arrests, they don’t piss around. Although I suspect it was quite a straightforward one with it been carried out so publicly.

(If they have arrested the right ones).

Minimum term for murder with a firearm is 30 years I think.

Why not do the same as they do for motor accidents. Charge you for leaving the scene and add extra on?
An extra three years for that would mean you serve at least another eighteen months with good behaviour reduction.

He will get a full life sentence without the the chance of parole. Plotting to execute someone then carrying it out is not the kind of thing they hand out short stints for!!! If he had gone there and not got the chance to fire a shot he would get life. You involve a gun in this country and you get no quarter given.

A bloke on a train in London tried to rob my girlfriend by saying he had a gun and he got 7 years. He didn’t even have one. She just told him to f**k off anyway!

Wouldn’t be surprised if the first one was from Balby too. Arrested in South Cave, but not necessarily where he resides.

Apparently the two of them refused to leave their cells go go to court, the court had to go to them, cowards. They should have been forced to enter court and face the music

Solicitors will have told them not to.

There’s plenty of history to this story that won’t get reported.

Not attending Court should not be an option

As for there being history, I’m sure there is, someone doesn’t have to lose his life for it though surely

Theres a lot of d**kheads around that age that think they are gangsters these days

Think they are? Shooting someone up in a public place seems pretty gangster to me. It’s what Al Capone used to do.

Apparently boxer lad gave one of the shooters a proper slapping in town and embarrassed him in front of his mates and bird. Boxer lad possibly tailing boyos missus too.

There's got to be more to it than that? Class A probably.

Aye, but Al Capone didn't used to get banged up a couple of days later.
