Not really worrying as they have only played 2 FA Cup games and one of those was a 1-0 win over Grimsby.. and 2-0 vs Spurs..

We have scored 16 in 5 games..

Wonder if Palace think that is worrying.??
It is all immaterial. We played a Man City team that have played 17 home games scoring 65 and conceding 9 and losing just one, to us. Conversely we played for 85 minutes at home to Grimsby who only had ten men and scrapped through 1-0. It is who turns up on the day, anything can happen. In reality if we played you 10 times I think we would win 6/7, draw 2/3 and lose 1/2. In one off games anything can happen, it’s why we love the cup.

I couldn’t agree more, but I would have Palace winning 7/8 times out of 10..

We are still awaiting clarification from the FA. Helpful they are leaving it so late though!

we have to recognise the Premiership is a different world ..we spend 3 million a year wages on an entire squad and that is no doubt less than Zaha earns .
Sunderland 's parachute payments amounted to 76 million more than 25 times our annual budget .These disparities do not make Premiership footballers 25  times better than ours .Better yes for sure but with vastly inflated rewards ....and values.

Got a very good feeling about this one, genuinely think we have an even chance of reaching the FA cup quarter final.
Starting to think silly thoughts.

I thought it was always due to be announced today.

PFIP -Marquis was with Millwall for years but never really got a look in and was loaned out left, right and centre

Lewisham boy and a Millwall family. Never got a fair crack of the whip at Wall.

Another Palace Fan here. Really excited for the game. With a sell out crowd, and opposition who are hungry to win it should be really competitive. We see this as a genuine banana skin and I have no doubt Hodgeson will be guarding them against complacency. I'm sure we will play a strong team and will play to win.

There will be some changes, but few of them would really be considered "weakening the team". If Joel Ward, Martin Kelly and Scott Dann start in defence, Max Meyer in midfield, and Sako on the wing (if Zaha is suspended), those bench players have over 500 premier league apps between them and are all on rediculous wages. I hope Roy will play Benteke up front to let him play himself into form, after an awful injury-hit 18 months with only one (penalty) goal. I suspect if he does drop Benteke it will be to play Batshuayi.

My point is don't be insulted if Palace make 9 changes from out last league game as that won't reflect that we are taking you and this competition seriously.

The reason you guys have an excellent chance is that palace are hopeless when we have the majority of the possession and have to unlock compact defences. Classic example being in December, when fresh off the back of a 3-1 win against Man City , where we could counter attack, Cardiff sat back against us, and although we had 31 shots, we drew 0-0. If you guys can stay in contention until half time, I will start sweating.

With all due respect mate, rest assured we won’t be sitting back to defend. We’ll be attacking from the off and if Palace don’t prepare for that then they’re in for a shock.

We won’t be sitting back that’s for sure we play with no fear and have nothing to loose so it will be an end to end game and plenty of goals hopefully for rovers

Take no notice of the above 2, we will play 10 defenders, no midfield and no attack!

The referee for Sunday is Mike Dean

https://www.soccerbase.com/referees/referee.sd?referee_id=135

The only cup match he refereed for us in was a 3-0 win over Aston Villa, us in tier 3, them in tier 1.

Will be a cracking atmosphere still think Palace had the noisiest set of fans that have been to the KMS
It’s a chance for our guys to make history and hopefully we don’t freeze

I have booked a table in one of the Lakeside shopping centre restaurants but understand their car park closes at 6pm. Anyone know if there is any free street parking or other car parks close by? Thanks

The only place to eat there is pizza hut and the car park is open all night as Starbucks does not close till 11 am, if you have booked at the beef eater you will fine till after the football

Thanks to everyone who responded, really appreciated. Will be in the Beefeater so probably park there but may check other suggestions to see easier to get away after.

The road to the right of the roundabout is where I usually park, all along there right down to the cinema you can get into. Cinema is also an option, though it's about a 5-10 minute walk to the ground and if you're going to the Beefeater anyway I'd probably just park in there, IF you can.

It'll be f**king murder getting away, I reckon, regardless of where you park.

Just seen this from the Lakeside twitter feed

Hi @drfc_officiaI we are all very proud of the team reaching this stage of the cup. As you know our car park is normally for our shoppers only but we're happy to help your supporters on this occasion and will make our car park available from 3pm - 7pm for the match.
