They are selling them block by block. 29 seats left. However yesterday over 60 tickets were sold in another block so sales now are up to 1800

Do they sell all blocks at the same time? I got mine on general sale on Monday and as I have my 12 y/o son coming I was happy that the seats available were in one of the end blocks and row F for this very reason. But I was wondering if part of the issue was blocks being sold individually whereas if all tickets were on sale at the same time it would give people more flexibility to get a seat in accordance with their sit/stand preferences. You can't begrude people wanting to sit in their allocated seat but also this is a regualr occurance that people should maybe be a bit more savvy about where they buy tickets.

(Obviously a moot point if all blocks were put on sale at the same time).

No they don't. Not online at least. I noticed they put all of the extra allocation online yesterday (in the side stand) but there's just the end block on sale now as people were probably cherry-picking seats in different blocks and they probably want to sell them block-by-block.
well I went into the ticket of face the first day and that is what they were selling and they said that is where they was told by Scunthorpe to sell them so I assume they would know

Even if we don’t sell out, 1900 is pretty good IMHO.

They won't do pay on the day for a game like this, not for that small an amount of tickets.

They are in the home end - but have to shift these before anyone would try to get in there surely ?

Last time they did on the day sales with no seat numbers on the ticket, so majority of people had seat numbers and then the ones on the day didn’t.

I guess if it’s not a sell out it means can move about and not have the inevitable sit stand debate

I have asked Gavin B to look in to the prospect of unreserved seats for Scunthorpe, so he is going to have a word with the security people to talk and see what they can do

Hi Vicar

Anything come of this please

I am praying it did .... Twitter from SLOs is saying that if people want to stand they should do so at the back with sitters going towards the front (or wings)

The problem there is I think if you go to the back you cant see a lot so of course people stand lower down as well

Personally I would go out in the wings but need "permission" to do so

Superb if it is true - because it will solve some problems that occur every time we play there

However I would like to see an "official" announcement so that nobody is in any doubt that it is sit where you like - and then if I choose a seat "out wide" I will not be then asked to move by someone who does not know what has been decided

From the DRFC SLO Twitter:

"A ‘common sense’ approach will be taken with regarding to fans who wish to stand at tomorrows game. Any supporters who wish to stand will be asked to do so at the back of the stand to avoid obscuring other fans views. If you wish to sit then please stay towards the front"

2227 allocated, 305 left. So presumably around 1922 sold.

Hopefully get the majority of the 305 shifted today and get the lads a packed out and vocal following.

I got an email from there safety officer last night and they say they are looking in to it so I think it's wait and see, but they did say with pyrotechnics it makes it difficult to have it sit anywhere, but to me it should make it easier to contain as the will be all together

It has to be unreserved seating then

It’s embarrassing Barnsley sold more to Pompey 4 hours away and we can’t even sell 2000 to a game that’s 30 mins away. I’m going to back the boys but sometimes our away support is so bad

How many times do we have to debate this.??

Taking about 2000 to Scunthorpe is NOT EMBARASSING at all..

Not everyone can get to every game.. those who can, great.!

Dunno if you've noticed but we're a different football club.
