It’s just occurred to me that of the remaining games we still have all of the current top 8 teams to play barring Peterborough.

Already played Portsmouth too, so only 5 to go out of the 8 - so I added Cov in 9th to make 6. In those 6 games earlier in the season we:
won 2 drew 1 lost 3
scored 6 conceded 7
7 out of 18 points.

I think we're in better form now, though arguably so are they. I think we can get 8 to 10 points out of the 18 available.

Id like to think that all the other clubs are thinking "shit, we've still got donny to play " , 2 defeats in 17 before palace. And one of those was the 2 last minute goals v Wycombe..    we are on a hell of a run!!

Nothing to fear, everything to gain in every match. The mental approach has to be spot on whoever we play.

I don't think Fleetwood have quite fulfilled their true potential this season, either.

But they have still managed to beat us 7-0 across two games. 
I bet there are few teams who have managed that against Rovers in any season?

Scunny have done incredibly well to get to where they are now, pretty much within a couple of wins of safety, considering how utterly shite they were at the start of the season under Nick Daws.

That 5-0 hammering Fleetwood gave them wasn't even men against boys. Toddlers would have shown more fight, more effort and more desire than Scunny did that night!

In my 900-odd games across the country, it's one of the worst performances I've seen with maybe one or two others that have been as bad/worse.

I don't think Fleetwood have quite fulfilled their true potential this season, either.

have you been away eating porridge rigo ? did you see all the good quality signings Scunny made when it looked like they would go down the swanny . Their owner certainly lived up to his name and flashed the cash with a bevy of decent signings so much so i even contemplated backing them to reach the play offs when i saw each signing landing at the club.

As for Fleetwood a member on here told me Chris Long refused to try at Fleetwood - he had been a playing partner of Joey barton not long ago & Joey signed him! -- got his contract cancelled about 6 weeks ago -- went to Blackpool who have also stacked up with good loanees -- so summat isn't right there
