Joe Wright

Out for the next 8-10 weeks, seems that he might be in contention for the playoffs should we make it. Lucky that we are fairly well stocked with Butler covering Downing & Anderson but still a bit of a blow.

Very big blow. Appears lightening does strike twice with another training ground accident.

Is it a separate injury from the first one?

Bad news. We need Mason as he can fill in at CB. Wonder when/how that situation will turn out

I wouldn’t be surprised if he is offered a new contract come the end of the season.

Real shame for Joe, but right now we have enough without him. That changes if we lose Butler, Anderson or Downing to an injury of course. But Wright hasn't been in the team since what, October? And we've done pretty well without him.

We most certainly do not need Mason and I do not think we'll see him again.

Better to rest him and get it right.

Yes I agree,he's a player for our future regardless what league we are in..So if we can get away with it and be lucky on injury's I wouldn't play him again this season including the play off..

If we get there by the time they come along he will have been out to long to come back for games like that..

big tom and downing aint going anywhere. They are now the top CHs unless injury hits, with butts as back up. I doubt GM would bring in joe as a straight replacement considering how well they are doing.
