I am in full agreement here. with these 6 foot 7 goalkeepers about I think a 20% increase in goal size is called for.
I bet we would miss just as many, and probably hit the post more, they would be putting them just about where we shoot now he he.

I don’t think that I would advocate such a large increase as 20%, but somewhere around 5-10% I think would see a big difference in the number of goals scored.

They still had men just as big as now in goal then, there were just fewer of them to choose from.
