Don't have five words, but all three goals came from Wilks, twice when he was fouled (admittedly a very good set-piece goal from Andrew) - the other one he tucked away nicely.

Rovers look alright when our 'pass it to Malik' tactic works but often a bit clueless when it doesn't (across the whole season).

Calamity defending from rovers. They've been good since our second.

Missing Whiteman and Kane, our defence looks less solid without them in front..

Would like to see a few more of ours getting in the game..  still, we are 3-1 up and I’ll take that.!

3 1 up after admittedly only playing well for about 10 minutes...  and defending deep for the rest..   more of the same then,

Thanks for the 5-word summaries guys! Sounding a bit nervous at times, eh?  Still, same again in the second half and we win 6-2!

Have it!   :scarf:

Scrappy. Fairly even. We’ve had some decent chances. Nothing too much to worry about.

Hope that doesn’t come back and bite us on the bum!

A good result that we had to grind out. Walsall are a better team than their league position would have you believe

Onwards and upwards

I thought Walsall were a better team than Bristol Rovers.
Gave us more problems.
Overall though we had as many chances as they did.
A scrappy game really but right now results are more important than good performances.

With the injuries and Rowe and Crawford playing out of position, we aren’t going to be at our best. But 3 points is 3 points..

Wilks my MotM capped off with a super goal..
