Before that game, I did honestly believe Liverpool had a chance but I never thought they would actually do it.. I thought Barcelona May have scored at least one and couldn’t see Liverpool getting 5 or even 6..

I very rarely watch football outside of Donny matches as I'm not that interested, but I had a feeling this one might be special. So glad I watched. Absolutely brilliant football, breathtaking at times. A brutal attacking performance and they thoroughly, utterly deserve it.

It’s funny. I was out with workmates at lunch watching the game and one of my workmates married into a Liverpool supporting family. He said they’ve got no chance and I said to him, knowing Liverpool, at home, in a European game, they have every chance of doing it and he should get $20 on it. He’s now in tears of joy. It's what we love about football. Man Us come back v Bayern, Liverpool's comeback v Inter. I reminded my mate about these on Sunday and he concluded, No chance!

Liverpool’s comeback was against ac Milan in 2006 I think it was.
They’ve a great chance now of winning it

AC Milan yes, but it was 2005. Greatest comeback of all time that, better than this. But only just. This was incredible, to pull it off without Salah or Firmino. Klopp is some manager.

If you dont have the decency to acknowledge the brilliance of that performance and what they have just achieved then you are not a football fan. What has that man said to that team to get them to produce that? For players such as Origi and Shaqiri to sit on the bench all season long and not throw their toys out the pram and play like that is outstanding. Only football can do that.

I stand by my original statement.  You can disagree with me all you like, and the forum readers can come to their own conclusions,.

I don't have an affinity for Liverpool but I can acknowledge what an amazing night for football that was.

  I'd put the game against A.C. Millan just above this purely because it was in the final and they only had the 2nd half to do it. Make no mistake tonight will be talked about for years and years and so it should. I'm no Liverpool fan but you have to feel for them if they don't win the league. I think they will be on 97 points if they win on the weekend losing one game and still they will probably end up 2nd. You have to have them as favourites for the champions league now but the prem is the one there craving. It's a shame they can't give both man c and pool the title as both are worthy winners. It's been the best race for the title I can remember,the form of both is something else.
