Copps pulled off at half time
« on May 12, 2019, 03:47:35 pm by esdailles left foot »
Was it tactical or injury. He wasn't having a great game but no worse than anyone else. Missed his creativity. Captain Rowe looks like he's already halfway down the A1 on his way to uncle Darren

I think you're ahead of him, on the way to Charlton atm.

Hurt his back apparently. Probably our best player up to half time.

Copps pulled off at half time?

I wonder if that’s what put his back out.

I was really hoping Kane would step up to the plate and was expecting him and Copps to hold the attacking midfield roles behind John giving Wilkes a free reign to roam about and cut in which he does brilliantly. Unfortunately Herbie has looked a shadow of his former self since his return from injury.....

I’ll tel you who was woeful today. ESDAILLES LEFT FOOT.
For crying out loud are you deliberately trying to wind us all up or is it that you are living on another planet and have never seen association football before.
If it’s the former you are succeeding and if its the latter I suggest you shut up as you clearly don’t know what your talking about.

Who said anything about world class.
Just in case you didn’t notice there were 2 teams out there. Charlton are the best team to play us here twice imo. One team is going to try and stop the other one.  :that:
Give our players a break will you, they gave everything they’ve got and we are still in this. Herbie Kane is 20 yrs old and has been a revelation to us. He & Whiteman have been outstanding this season.

BE PROUD if that’s possible, I AM.  :that:

We lost by 1, anyone would think it was 4/5 the way you are ranting.

I thought Coppinger was our best player first half. Made tome and space for himself on the ball when everyone else was hurrying. Had a great effort brilliantly saved. Assumed he must have been injured to be withdrawn. Rowe offered very little second half.

He was injured. I actually think Crawford or Sadlier should play their on Friday.

Is he injured padge.
I can’t see anything that tells us that.
If so, is it likely to keep him out on Friday.

GM said he hooked Copps at ht as he thought we were lacking energy first half, wether that was to disguise a injury who knows..

If it was that I would have kept Copps on and took off either Kane who is struggling with something or Sadlier who struggled to get into the game..However that is one of the drawbacks of having a player like Copps who can only play 70 mins, it limits other changes...

Blair and Andrew both played with huge energy all game. Rest of team looked knackered.

Apparently it was tactical according to Liam hoden on twitter. Perhaps 2-0 down GM thought we needed more pace on the pitch.

See, I thought Sadlier was good yesterday.  Linked really well with Andrews and got far more joy on the left flank than Wilks was getting on the right.

I agree albeit not his best attacking game in getting shots off or crosses in, he defended well and his link up play was v good.
