Maybe Copps was rested ahead of possibly playing 120 mins on Friday.?

I rated Sadlier too. It didn't come off for him too much, but he's got a good footy brain, has skills and a great shot. Maybe lacking a bit of solid confidence but that will come with experience and beefing up physically and mentally a tad. A pre season will help. Great to see McCann playing him so much.

Apparently it was tactical according to Liam hoden on twitter. Perhaps 2-0 down GM thought we needed more pace on the pitch.

In that case Tommy Rowe was not the man to bring on

GM said he hooked Copps at ht as he thought we were lacking energy first half, wether that was to disguise a injury who knows..

If it was that I would have kept Copps on and took off either Kane who is struggling with something or Sadlier who struggled to get into the game..However that is one of the drawbacks of having a player like Copps who can only play 70 mins, it limits other changes...

See, I thought Sadlier was good yesterday.  Linked really well with Andrews and got far more joy on the left flank than Wilks was getting on the right.

And that's why we love this game and can talk for hours about it..I thought Sadlier was totally ineffective and Wilks was much more of a threat..Our group had the same discussion, some agreed with me and a couple thought he was really good..Always a game of different opinions..

What does the Blades lad have to do to get a look in? McCann seems to prefer Alfie May.

Copps has been our best player for years and still is at the age of 38, but sometimes I think he slows the attack down with his frequent turning with the ball. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. On Saturday I didn't think it did.

Regarding Herbie, he seems to be trying to emulate Copps but hasn't quite got the masters touch yet.

Have we actually played the formation we had when Kane and Whiteman were injured since they came back in? We looked tighter at the back, got the best out of Copps in a more central role and scored ten goals in four games. Compare that with six goals in the last five. I like to see us go with that formation that got the best out of Copps with Whiteman and Kane in the side.

Were you looking on your crystal ball BB?
We didn’t play until Sunday.😉

Copps pulled off at half time?

I wonder if that’s what put his back out.

Mega funny. You missed your vocation fella.
