Head of Recruitment Leaves

Just seen on twitter that Lee Glover has left to be Mansfield's assistant manager. Hopefully won't derail our recruitment this summer McCann suggests its pretty far on anyway at least.

Released from duties I’d imagine let’s face It Mansfield isn’t exactly a step up ! So I doubt the club will be without if a replacement IS required.

Of course it is a step up for him, he has a more responsible job and is now the second  in command at a football club, most likely less travelling and more money.
All the best to the fella, and the best of luck I say.
Our academy is now better than for a long time, and he was a part of it, there are good people working in the background at this club, and he will be missed, but someone else will take his place, I am sure the cogs are turning already for someone to take over his position here.

Exactly Selby, of course its a step up and its been on the DRFC website for the last 24hrs+, he is very well respected in the football system.

So having a say on who we buy and moulding the players who would play for the club and finding the gems that lurk about the depth s of our Leagues and possibly be the future of the club is less important a position at being someone else’s fall guy when the actual manger gets the sack and drags you down with  him , is a better position. Good choice !
