Spiked drinks
« on May 29, 2019, 07:20:25 pm by roversdude »
Guys just a word of warning to you and your family members who enjoy a drink in town.
My wife was out for a couple of hours on Sunday and has no recollection of anything after her second drink and ended up sprawled in the street like a proper p*sshead, fortunately she had our daughter and friends there who made sure she was ok. My wife had only been in Manama so it must have happened there, she posted a warning on Facebook and from the replies it seems to be rife at the moment
Hopefully no one else suffers in this way

Sorry to hear this but unfortunately it's getting very common now.

Beyond belief that some scrote would do that to a random stranger. Hope she wasn't hurt.

Wife is fine thanks guys just thought I’d post it to try and make people aware.
Thing is she can’t remember leaving her drink where it could have been spiked - I just don’t get what people get out of doing that

Happened to me when I was 18.  Absolutely terrifying.

Daughter was saying it always happens in Manana. She always watches the bar staff make her drink as she doesn’t trust them. I did ask the question of why the bloody hell do you keep on going in then!

I now understand why I ended up face down in a shrub planter on a night out in Edinburgh last year. I bet some bas**rd spiked my 12th pint.

All stories I’ve heard about drinks being spiked seem to be in Manana

So why doesn't everyone boycott the place then. Stupid to keep going there.

Scummy behaviour and it's so easy to get complacent but you really shouldn't be leaving a drink out of sight! I'm guilty of it myself!

Roversdude, were you also effected and no recollection? As Manama is the capitol here in Bahrain, and I can assure you it will take more than a couple of hours to pop out for a drink here.

You were lucky Billy I recall JO BRAND recounting a similar experience, she woke up with her head in a Cactus planter being 'TAKEN FROM BEHIND BY A GREEK WAITER'
