S & W Yorkshire for Europe

some  research

Interesting thread detailing some new research on Brexit & deprivation ~ the so-called "left behind" leave areas.

In summary, there's only a weak correlation. In fact, areas of high deprivation have very mixed views on Brexit.

The biggest single deprivation factor is education!

New research: "Deprivation and the electoral geography of Brexit".

Rob Jump and I test the hypothesis that the "left-behind" voted for Brexit.

I'm so glad to have the lottery of life by being British and not European.
