The Keepmoat Stadium
« on June 10, 2019, 02:41:23 pm by selby »
What a busy place it is now as a centre of commerce, I had reason to visit this afternoon and the car park was almost full.
Someone has certainly had vision and the club look to be benefiting  from the office space and car park spaces being let out.
It is great to see and can only benefit the club itself. The club shop looked to be undergoing a big refit as well, with new stock now being delivered.

Did they get out of the boxes? Agents in boxes, now that’s a novelty.
How much are the shop selling them for?

While it's excellent that the stadium is a hub of activity seven days a week, the exterior in particularly is beginning to look very tired and poorly maintained.

It's part of the long term architectural intention. Heading towards the chic rust look of the Barclays Center Arena in New York, which was in turn inspired by the Belle Vue Stadium in Donny.

Agreed, the outside sheeting/cladding needs a good old jet wash down, surely wouldn't cost much, hire of a scissor lift & couple of days labour, job done. Would look much brighter.

I'd have loved us to have something a bit more unique like that.
