Panic now! The season starts today!

Well actually no, it's June, there is no expectation on DRFC to complete a fixture soon.

Every year we have the same pathetic panic. You guys must stock pile tinned food, have nuclear bunkers in you back gardens and live for the next piece of information you can warp into your own rhetoric and pedal as the truth in order to satisfy your need for creating negativity in other people's lives, quite possibly in the only environment where you carry any influence.

I am no longer going to respond to the clearly clueless lies and guesses (lies) that are made up about us having no budget, needing to sell players, most depleted squad ever (Saunder's promo team anyone?) and I'm going to do what every other reasonable person should do and just roll my eyes and participate in the grown-up threads until the rediculous is birthed in there and move on.

I was brought up to be accountable for what I said, clearly some on here have different morals and values.

If you are tired of being one of those needy people who makes up things, decides that they are fact and carries a desire to be negative about a squad that doesn't even need to exist yet, help can be found from many organisations, but also maybe taking a break from this site and social media would help you.

Agreed! I promised myself that this year I wouldn't waste my time on these sad, doom mongering threads but in my desperation for DRFC news I've ended up reading them. I too will do myself a favour and steer clear. I mean it this time!

  One of the big problem with social media is people hear rumours then post them as facts..Classic today on facebook was "GM has a interview with Hull City today" when challenged on his source it turned out to be a Hull fan he was talking to in the newsagents this morning..haha

  There have been loads of examples of that this last week.Pure attention seeking in my book..

Why bother following the club at all. We have just had the most successful consecutive 16 yrs in the clubs history.
Twice promoted to the 2nd tier. 5 seasons at that level.
A Wembley play off final win, a JPT trophy final win at the Millenium stadium & 5 promotions.

I am trying to imagine what your posts would be like if you were following a club which had no success over the same 15/16 yrs.
